Two years on since the Resilient40 last met in person in Addis Ababa the group will reconvene, virtually to build on their successes as a network. It will be an opportunity to discuss the outcome of COP26, and take the next steps to build the network and its activities in the run up to COP27 in Egypt.
R40 assembled in March 2019 in Valley Lodge, South Africa, and again in January 2020 in Addis. Two years on this dynamic network of leaders championing resilience to climate change in Africa will come together again virtually. An opportunity to regroup and strategise for the role R40 can play in 2022 in the run-up to COP27.
