This virtual dialogue will explore the liver health and NCD landscape and where NAFLD is situated within both agendas. Participants will start to outline the aims of the NAFLD roadmap, the process for developing this, including who should be engaged, and the critical areas to be addressed.
The discussions will specifically:
- Outline the boarder liver health and NCD policy and public health landscape
- Explore where NAFLD sits within these agenda, and where best to position it moving forward
- Discuss the short-, medium- and long-term opportunities and challenges for tackling NAFLD and NCDs more broadly
- The outcomes of this virtual dialogue will feed into the planning for a larger hybrid convening set to take place in February 2022.
