This conference discussed the following points:
- How to ensure greater local ownership and capacity development in the context of fragile and conflictaffected environments, including through the use of international assistance;
- How to balance local ownership trade-offs and dilemmas in the assessment, planning and implementation of SJD programmes;
- How host nations and donors can better align development of the security and justice sectors; and
- How donors can develop and direct their capacities to provide better advice and assistance to host nations.
