The specific focus of our dialogue was how to get better engagement and coordination between donor states and operating agencies, both humanitarian and commercial.
We looked at the extent to which a clear, shared understanding of ‘landmine-free’ can be said to exist, challenges of both legacy and new contamination, the evolving funding context, and discussed options for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of donor support to mine and ERW clearance.
