This meeting addressed the specific needs of adolescent girls in humanitarian settings. It brought together a cross section of various communities, including humanitarian, family planning, education, youth, health, government (especially from the global south) and international development communities in an attempt to forge collaboration and explore effective multi-sectoral approaches, placing adolescent girls themselves at the heart of discussions.
